This thing is so rad. Looks like a POS, but has a 370hp GTO engine and 5 speed manual. ( I was corrected the trans is from a GTO, but the engine is from a truck)

Unlike a lot of swapped cars on CL that say “just “finished” last month only 1000 miles on engine, just needs tune” which is code for “I can’t figure out how to get it to run right”, this car was built in 2012, and probably has all of it’s teething problems sorted.

interior looks all stock, which I think is pretty cool, even got the BMW shifter knob on their.

Asking is 6500, which might be a bit much considering the rust.

you’re right. I was pretty sure the GTO only got the LS1, and LS2 . 

Ad isn’ t really misleading tho, I just miss interpreted it.

the original engine was an iron black too, and a OHC was well. I’d bet the chevy motor doesn’t way much more.

Also this thing is worth $6500 all day. a GTO T-56 is worth about $2500, an LQ4 about $1000...

a rust old bmw, about 1500.

a grand for putting it all together is VERY cheap.

M30 with G260 is about 550lb. The LQ4 dry is apparently 500lbs without a trans. a T56 is apparently 115lbs dry.

I’ve actually got a G260 laying around I could weigh. It’s definitely under 100lbs dry though.

I’d take the e12 with the m30 personally. Can’t imagine the chassis enjoys all that torque.

So maybe an extra 100lbs? not horrible. an Aluminum block would be a lot better tho.

I’d suggest a real roll cage, with welded in strut bracing.

that’s fair. more power isn’t everything. some engines, especially inline 6s just have a great character about them.

No, but the driver probably does. And not talk of rear ends here, which I should think would also not like the torque.
